Tahini fudge may sound super exotic, but it’s extremely easy to prepare. So that you have an idea of the taste, here are a few important definitions of terms and tips for preparation. Since we only use two ingredients here, it is important to ensure good quality. There are big differences, especially with sesame butter, which is why I recommend my favorite product below.

What is tahini?

Whether Tahini, Tahin or Tahina: The German translation is Sesammus. You must have eaten it already, right? In oriental cuisine, the paste made from ground sesame is an absolute staple. It gives hummus its typical taste, binds sauces and dips, but is also used for Arabic desserts. Because there is nothing in the paste apart from sesame – just like cashew butter, almond butter or peanut butter, it can therefore be used in many different ways.

There is dark and light tahini – in the dark, the sesame seeds are not peeled, which is why the taste is a bit tart. Light sesame butter tastes a little milder and is ideal for this tahini fudge. You can get it in organic quality from nur.fit , for example.

What is fudge?

Fudge is actually a name for butterscotch candies, also known as English toffees. Depending on the recipe, they are made from butter, sugar, condensed milk and chocolate, for example. So the basic recipe for fudge isn’t plant-based, but tahini fudge bars usually are. They are made from a few, high-quality ingredients: sesame butter, chocolate or cocoa and a syrup if you like. We don’t need a sweetener in this recipe.

Tahini fudge or fudge bars only have one thing in common with toffees: a creamy consistency and a texture that melts in the mouth. You can think of it a bit like ice cream confection. So delicious!

No-Bake Candy Bar: Tahini Fudge

The genius of this recipe? Several things. First, it contains really few ingredients, second, it’s super easy, third, it tastes irresistible, fourth, it’s healthy, and fifth, you don’t need much equipment. With little effort, you can make delicious vegan chocolate bars yourself that don’t need to be baked or shaped. Simply mix the ingredients, pour into molds and chill. The tahini fudge bites then harden again in the fridge and the aforementioned melt is created. The mixture of sweet chocolate and tart sesame is simply to die for. Then some gingerbread spice and salt – it really doesn’t get any better! Incidentally, salt flakes are also brilliant, as they have a slight crunch and create a really good contrast to the delicate tahini chocolate cream.

  • Silikonform


  • 125 g dunkle Schokolade
  • 100 g Tahini
  • 1 tsp Lebkuchengewürz Für eine winterliche Variante
  • 1 prise Salz


  • Die Schokolade über einem Wasserbad schmelzen. Anschließend das Tahini zugeben und sorgfältig unterrühren, bis sich alles verbunden hat. Zuletzt dasLebkuchengewürz oder ein anderes Gewürz deiner Wahl zugeben.
  • Die Schokoladenmasse in eine Silikonform geben. Alternativ in kleine Pralinenförmchen füllen. Mit etwas Salz Bestreuen und für 2 Stunden im Kühlschrank fest werden lassen.
  • Falls etwas übrig bleibt, bewahre die Tahini Fudge Schokoriegel einfach in einer Dose im Kühlschrank auf. Dort halten sie sich mindestens eine Woche.
