  • Brownie batter

65g grounded flax seeds (ground into a flour)

  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 32g almonds
  • a pinch of salt
  • 130g dates (soaked 30 mins in hot water)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    Chocolate layer
  • 80g agave syrup
  • 24g peanut butter
  • 18g cocoa powder

Have you ever tried flax seed flour? It is something different but its worth to try. Just make sure to use a good and dry blender, otherwise it will be super lumpy. No flax seeds? Use ground oats instead. Same result, cause i tried this version as well. Apart from that, i recommend to use medjool dates for this recipe or any other soft dates. Ive used for this recipe a silicon baking dish. You can also use a baking pan 12 cm x 12 cm as well.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Soak the dates 30 mins in hot water.

Step 2

Mix Flax seeds into flour. Make sure to use a dry mixer.

Step 3

Add ingredients for the batter into a blender and mix until you get a sticky dough.

Step 4

Transfer the batter to your baking dish. Mix ingredients for the chocolate layer together and pour over the brownie batter.

Step 5

Refrigerate for one hour and enjoy this simple dish.

Instructions

  • Transfer the dough to your baking dish.
  • Mix ingredients for the chocolate layer together until creamy.
  • Pour evenly over the brownies and refrigerate for one hour.
  • Cut into equal pieces and enjoy this super delicous dessert.
