One Pot Focaccia

Who loves focaccia as much as I do? The problem with that, most recipes just take ages and the yeast dough process is not without it either. That’s why I created this recipe. It always works, tastes just as good and is totally fluffy – in just a few steps.

  • 150ml lukewarm water
  • 5g dried yeast
  • 300g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 15ml olive oil
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 50g cherry tomatoes

When it comes to baking bread, I try to make the processes as easy as possible. An important step in this is dry yeast. It is much easier for me to work with dry yeast than with fresh yeast. The result is more consistent in my opinion. However, it is important to soften the dry yeast in lukewarm water. If you manage to do that, then nothing stands in the way of the fluffy bread.

One Pot Focaccia

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Mix lukewarm water with dry yeast and set aside for 5 Minutes.

Step 2

Add flour, oil and salt. Knete for a few Minutes and let it rest for 2 hours. (On a warm place)


Step 3

Line a baking pan with parchment paper and brush it with a little oil. Add the dough, add rosemary, tomatoes and coarse sea salt and bake the bread for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.

Step 4

Let it cool down for 15 Minutes and enjoy this healthy one pot Focaccia.

Step 5

Serve with vegan butter or my paprika dip.

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper and brush a little oil on it.
  • Transfer the dough and add rosemary, tomatoes and salt.
  • Bake 25 Minutes at 200 degrees. Make sure the oven is pre heated.
  • Let it cool down for 15 Minutes and enjoy.
