How to make the perfect roasted paprika sauce. Almost every pesto contains parmesan, which we replace with yeast flakes. A very nutritious alternative and an indispensable taste in the vegan kitchen, give it a try :)

Chop the vegetables, add salt, pepper and dried herbs, a little olive oil and the cashew nuts. The game changer in this recipe is to roast the cashew nuts. The Roasted Paprika  Pesto is only half as good if you skip this step.

I am a big fan of this dish because It’s easy, quick and incredibly tasty.

To make the dish perfect from the macronutrients, tofu is recommended as a great side dish.

Roasted Paprika
 400 g Bell pepper
 100 g Onion
 1 Garlic clove
 1 tbsp Olive oil
 1 tbsp Salt
 1 tbsp Pepper

 1 tsp Pepper
 1 tsp Chili powder
 30 g Nutritional yeast
 1 tsp Salt

Steps
1

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Cut all of your veggies.

3. Transfer all ingredients to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

4. Once done, transfer to a blender and add all of the remaining ingredients. Blend and enjoy with pasta, potato and crunchy tofu.

5. Enjoy 🙂
