Is Ferrero Rocher vegan?

Unfortunately I have to disappoint you here. Unfortunately, the candy is not vegan at the moment, because the cream contains milk products, among other things. But you don’t have to do without the beloved taste of Ferrero Rocher completely. The chocolate nut praline can already be interpreted vegan! I decided to develop a super delicious and healthy breakfast out of it: Ferrero Rocher Vegan Overnight Oats! While the original pralines are full of sugar and really are candy, you can eat my version without a guilty conscience and satisfy your chocolate appetite in the morning in a healthy way. Because as you know from me, I paid attention to the most wholesome, protein-rich and plant-based ingredients when developing the recipe.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know: I love overnight oats! This is a kind of “overnight porridge”: oat flakes and seeds are soaked in plant drink and left in the fridge for several hours. So instead of cooking them on the stove and eating them warm, you let the flakes soak overnight. The perfect breakfast awaits you the next morning. The highlight of this recipe: A high-protein porridge with rolled oats, chia seeds and flaxseed meets a creamy hazelnut-chocolate core. The taste will immediately remind you of Ferrero Rocher, bet? Incidentally, the term overnight oats has long since become German – the translation “Über Nacht Oats” would sound somehow awkward. So: Fancy a very special Ferrero Rocher recipe?

Tastes almost like Ferrero Rocher: Vegan Overnight Oats

The best thing about Ferrero Rocher: The chocolate hazelnut cream in the crispy wafer shell, right? The principle is the same with this recipe: a delicious core is hidden in a firmer oat mass – and everything is crowned with a crunchy layer of chocolate as the icing on the cake. That moment of breaking through all the layers with the spoon is so good! To make the recipe super easy, I used a plant-based version of Nutella for the cream: Vegan Hazelnut Cream from Nutri-Plus. But you can also use any other vegan hazelnut cream that you like to eat. The same goes for the vegan protein powder, although I would recommend either chocolate, hazelnut or peanut flavor. This intensifies the aroma a little more and really goes perfectly with the recipe.

Instructions

  • Haferflocken, Chia- und Leinsamen in ein Glas geben.Proteinpulver und Mandelmilch dazugeben und alles gründlich vermengen.
  • Die Schoko-Haselnuss-Creme mit einem Löffel in dieHafermasse drücken. Darüber wieder mit etwas Porridge bedecken.
  • Schokolade schmelzen und über die Porridge-Masse gießen. Mit gehackten Haselnüssen bestreuen. Im Kühlschrank fest werden lassen – mindestens zwei Stunden oder über Nacht. Am nächsten Morgen heißt es dann: Löffel rein und die Ferrero Rocher Vegan Overnight Oats genießen!
